Why am I learning?

  • Everyone is a student, not just the ones learning at school, so this blog is for all kind of people who try to find out more about life.
  • As this is the first post, I'll try to present about students who have hard time trying to understand why they are learning at school or any other institution of education.
  • It's true that many students across the world come across this question from either frustration of studying hours but not attaining satisfactory results or, from mere curiosity. This is normal and we don't have to be stressed out. Before starting out to solve these problems, we better define what "learning" is.To be frank, there is no specific definition that everyone adheres to but I've found out many people agree on the following terms:
  1. Develops deeper understanding of nature and society.
  2. Looks at the past, identify the mistakes and learn from them so as not repeat it.
  3. Help develop awareness among people so as to support the growth and/or security among others in a nation.
  4. Aids greatly in improving oneself's standard of living.
  5. And in general making life easier for Humans.
  • We may agree generally on the points listed above, but the thing is we need to develop definition for ourselves of why we're learning. We may think it'll be hard for us but all we need to do is find out what our values, passion and purpose are. I'll post about them soon but you should realize that you are the only one who can find them. All I can do is to give you tips.
If you have any question you would like to share about this or any related issues please and I say please be free to ask me on the comments (will try to answer if you have any).

Thanks for reading :-)
