5 steps to start committing to change.

In my other articles, I have said that to start something is half the battle. Today I’m going to talk about the other half. What is to come after we start our journey? How do we keep up the pace we started with?
One thing you will have to be ready all the time when you are about to start something is Frustration. What is frustration, and how does it impede our path? Frustration is a feeling that wants to bring us to our knees, to stop whatever we’ve started. It’s completely OK to be frustrated from time to time. We usually become frustrated when we’re not living up to our expectation or when our goals seem unreachable. I’ve some methods to counter with this problem which I do hope will help you out work hard against the odds.

1.   Be prepared for the worst

Many people believe that we have to prepare to embrace the best outcome. It’s commonly believed by so many people that waiting for the worst will produce a negative field around that person making it likely to happen. I don’t disagree with this belief, but I’ve seen that when the best doesn’t happen, people encounter a trauma that might even make them drop their plans. Of course while preparing for the worst, we should never lose hope that the best will happen. It could be summed up as
“Prepare for the worst and
           Hope for the best”

2.  Don’t stress yourself!

Too much stress as it’s well known is the source of so many Diseases. It is very clear that we’re stressed out when our plans don’t go as planned and our goals seem to be further than ever, we’ll be under enormous stress. This stress will eventually frustrate us to a point where we give up. Therefore in order to avoid this kind of traps that’ll eventually make all the hard work, we’ve put into vain, we should know things that will help us out coping up with the stress or even better make us happy and enjoy the moment. Stress in small amounts can make us accomplish wonders, but it shouldn’t be powerful enough to make our day gloomy.

3. Be flexible with your methods of approach.

I do like it when they say, 3+5=8 and 4+4=8. These simple equations may not seem interesting but they do outline to the fact that there are many ways to approach our goals. On many occasions, we might be trying hard to achieve our goal and it doesn’t seem to work. “Am I not ready for this? “ kind of thoughts may pop up in our minds. The feeling that we’re not good enough or that we’re not meant for this. But,

No one can defy this questions. They are simply telling us that we are the one and the time we should start is NOW! When can we possibly start doing if it is not now? Just do something so that you can start to move. Acceleration can and will come later on our journey.
But what if our methods don’t work? It’s pretty easy to tackle, but has frustrated so many people. All we need to do is to sit tight and think about the possibilities. Have a scratch paper and a pen so that you can put your precious ideas and start to see the dots of opportunities appear. Then all you’ve to do is to connect the dots so as to fit our style, time we are willing to commit and how feasible they are.
Again we might be disappointed if things don’t work out the way we thought or we might feel we don’t or have missed an opportunity, but remember,

If we don’t obtain opportunities,          Let us build them! .................................. Unknown

And that we can start out wherever we’re and try to correct the mistakes we did from our previous experiences.

4. Try to keep your cool and enjoy the path toward your goal.

We must be motivated as I said earlier on our journey to our goal so that we don’t get frustrated in the hardship we’re passing through. One great thing to enjoy is the path itself. “Whoa, isn’t the path and make us work to the limit?” of course it does, but imagine yourself already having achieved your goal and try to feel the satisfaction you’ll obtain when you’re thinking about the tough road you had to endure to reach where you are. How will it feel when you have showed yourself that you can do what you once thought was impossible?

You are feeling the vibe right now aren’t you? Yep it feels good here already and that the point, you don’t have to wait to feel good about yourself. Feeling good now of course won’t make you “less happier” when you’ve achieved your goal.

5. Learn from your experience and don’t make the same mistake again.

We’ve mentioned it earlier. Repeating a mistake is plain sad.
A mad man is a man who expects a d/t outcome

Without changing his way of approach …………………………… unknown

We’ve to be careful of observing our mistakes. Mistakes are wrongly assumed to be bad and avoided at all costs. But the reality is that mistakes can be our best friend! Really; have you ever remembered the things you got right after an exam? Or is the one you got wrong? Starting to see their use here right, mistakes are simply an indication that we’re missing on something. If we can carefully see where we have made a mistake, it becomes a lot easier to advance, but wait! We’re stuck again. What should we do now? Check up ourselves to see where we’ve made mistakes. It may become hard at first to stick to a routine of checking whether we’re making mistakes now but guess what the more mistakes you’re learning from, the less prone you become to make a mistake.
Once we have become a pro in fixing our problems, we’ll die to get a mistake so as to be better and better every time. Remember: mistakes can be our best friends, listen to them and they’ll lead to whatever you have set out to accomplish; ignore them and they’ll be following stubbornly all the time until you listen!

After you have tried everything you can and it doesn’t work…

We tried hard, tried all means possible to achieve it. We try all the time and nothing seems to budge. We’re disappointed to the last resort. What can we possibly do? It’s sometimes tricky to see the difference between something that won’t work and something which will. When this kind of scenario appears in our lives, it’s really hard to decide whether to let go or try again.
Surprisingly these kinds of situations appear when our goal is simply not ours.
        If a door won’t open;
What’s behind it is not yours.
It’s very hard to change our goals which we may have pursued all our life. But like I said in my other posts, it’s really good to try new things because we might find something, which we can do for the rest of our lives! Even so it needs our commitment to the new change. We then can find ourselves really move on and truly achieve the goal we want.
